Keep your account private
Never share sign-in codes, passwords, ID documents or financial details with another member. Jaalallee staff will not ask for your SMS verification code.
Take your time
Start conversations in the app. Be cautious about urgent requests to move elsewhere, promises of investments, emergencies requiring money or someone pressuring you for intimate images. Never send money to someone you have only met online.
Meet on your terms
Choose a public place, arrange your own transport and tell someone you trust where you will be. You can stop a conversation or leave a meeting at any time.
Checks have limits
Phone verification only confirms access to a number. Government-ID verification is not currently live. Even future verification cannot guarantee another person’s conduct or safety.
Get help
Use in-app reporting and blocking, or contact info@afanoromo.net. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
